Marty Vehstedt's Mystery Plastic Fire Truck

Mr. Dana Johnson replied: Your plastic fire truck is reminiscent of the 50s and early 60s plastic dime store toys produced by Acme, Thomas Toys, Pyro, Banner, Eldon, Reliable and Lapin, but doesn't quite match any of them. The style of the fire engine places it in the early to mid 1960s. Value is estimated around $20-30, based on similar plastic toys of the period. If it is identifiable as a particular brand, it could be worth more.  It would be interesting to find out more about it.  If anyone recognizes this toy or has further information, please e-mail me.
